Here at Smith Wellbeing, we're dedicated to healing the space between you and your fullest potential to feel and be your best. Through individual therapy, couple's counseling, therapy groups and wellness activities, we've created a space for you to find safety and support along the journey.

Tara Smith, LCSW

Tara is a psychotherapist, speaker, mediator, and creator who is devoted to the mission of mindful personal development. As a therapist, Tara practices insight-and-action-oriented holistic healing and specializes in challenges related to accessing greater creativity, the career journey, weight & eating, fear, anxiety & over-thinking, assertive communication, dating, parenting & family dynamics, and divorce. She primarily hosts sessions and groups online.

Tara is also a speaker on topics related to mindfulness and meditation. She received her training in divorce mediation from Northwestern University. She also has a master's degree in social work from Aurora University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California. She receives ongoing training to offer the most evidenced-based, advanced interventions with warmth, compassion, empathy, and non-judgement.

Latrina Smith, LCSW

Latrina is a veteran mental health professional with a passion for treating the full individual: mind, body, and spirit. A life-changing expert, she specializes in group facilitation, holistic wellness, financial progress, Christian counseling, and advocacy.

For over 30 years, Latrina has gained experience in the mental health field, serving everyone from early childhood to senior citizens. Her commitment to wellness and life-long learning has led her to teaching higher education as a college professor, advocating for students as a school social worker, providing consultation to new therapists, and creating a private practice. She earned her BS in Applied Behavioral Science from George William's College and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has has also completed doctoral coursework at Aurora University.

LaTeena Smith, NCSP

LaTeena is an experienced school psychologist and social justice advocate. She takes an eclectic approach to mental health, meeting clients unique needs, developing and supporting groups, and providing educational advocacy.
